The BBC World Service is one of the world's leading multi-media news organisations providing international news and analysis to a global audience. The Indonesian Service broadcasts 2.5 hours of radio every day with listeners on FM, SW and the Internet, from offices in London and Jakarta.
We are looking for an experienced journalist to work in all aspects of radio and Internet production including reporting, interviewing, writing, translating, presenting and producing.
With Indonesian as your first (or equivalent) language and full comprehension of English, you'll demonstrate considerable relevant radio or TV experience and an up-to-date knowledge of both the target audience and international current affairs. As well as sound editorial judgment, excellent presentation skills and the ability to translate from English into Indonesian and vice versa, you'll need good IT, keyboard and Internet skills.
